School Daze

Well it's that time of yeat again! School is back in session. Brayden's new teachers are Jessica G. and Elizabeth! He is loving their class and having a blast!

He has a lot of the same friends in his class this year!

I am SO proud of my big boy!

Paint

I set out to paint something to go in Ms. Stephanie's classroom, and got a little carried away! I made her a storybook collection (Cat in the Hat, Baby Beluga, Where the Wild Things Are, Alice in Wonderland, and Curious George)

then I kept the ball rolling and made some paintings of Brayden's favorite toys for his room (Sock Monkey, "Baby Bear" and the Toy Story alien). Those were much needed considering he still had his paintings up on his wall from when he was a newborn.

But now, I can't stop! Michael's will probably run out on canvases at the rate I'm going, but I absolutely love it, and have gotten a few requests from other people for birthday gifts, baby gifts etc. Mabe I'll just have to start up "Caryn's Canvases" and find a good charity to donate profits to!

Sweeeet Summertime!

Today was my last day of summer classes! Now I can officially relax until school starts back up in the fall! We had a great 4th of July weekend, and now we are getting everything ready for our Gulf Adventure next week. We are going to Gulf Shores and PCB with shovels ready to try and clean up some of the oil from the BP spill. It will also give us some great quality family time (I was so happy Ben could take off) AND we will get to visit my aunt at her new condo in Gulf Shores. I'm hoping to get wedding plans finalized before we leave so I can really concentrate on cleaning up the Gulf and lovin' on my family!

More Summertime Adventures!

We also had our first night of Vacation Bible School at New Hope tonight! Me and Brayden had a blast playing super-hero games and making crafts! I am so proud of him and how much he is learning and growing! My sweet little boy is so special and I am so glad my world revolves around him!

HOT HOT HOT!

Trying to find fun things to do in this Memphis heat is no easy task, but thanks to Collierville's water spray park, today was a BLAST! We splashed around with Stephanie and Dominic for a few hours, and had a great time! Now Brayden is playing Toy Story 3 on Wii, and I am checking all of my emails etc. Hopefully I can get our ceremony and reception venues finalized by the end of next week, and I am going dress shopping with all of my bridesmaids this weekend!

Wedding Planning!!!!

It's time to start planning!!! March 5th will be here before we know it so I'm getting the ball rolling now! So much to do! We've got all kinds of appointments the next few weeks to get everything booked and paid for (eek!)

Summertime

We are enjoying summer! Spending time outside and hanging out with friends never gets old! Brayden got to see Toy Story 3 this week and LOVED it (almost as much as I did). Tomorrow is Father's Day and I can't wait to celebrate it with Ben who is the best father I can imagine for Brayden, and my dad who is the most wonderful father to me! So much to be thankful for lately!
